Beyonce Found a Black Woman Who Was Worthy of Her Voice: Mary J Blige

at Cecconi's Restaurant on January 31, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.

Finally we get to see Beyonce do a callabo on a black woman’s album.  The talented singer lended her voice to soul sista Mary J Blige on her upcoming My Life II album.  Musically this is some of the best news I’ve heard this year. It’s nearly impossible for the song to not be a great track. Hopefully they will also do a video together for the song.

The track with Beyonce is called “Loving a Woman.” Mary also has features from Nas, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Diddy. With that all star cast along with Mary’s powerful voice and soulful hits this album should definitely do some double platinum numbers. (I think, maybe I’m just stanning.)

“Mary J Blige,” is set to release her tenth LP, “My Life II… The Journey Continues” on November 21, 2011.  My Life the original was released 17 years ago. Mary J is R&B royalty.
