3 White Workers File Suit Claiming they were Fired and Told “The Hispanics Work Harder”
In ROTFLMFAO, that is so ridiculous and possibly true but I would be hot as fish grease if it happened to me News: Three white workers were fired by Indian hotel owners of a Hampton Inn. They were fired and replaced with hispanic workers who work harder.
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing the owners of a franchised hotel in Colorado for allegedly discriminating against three white, non-Hispanic hotel workers, the Denver Post reports.
The suit seeks to give the three workers who used to work at the Hampton Inn in Craig, Colo., their jobs back as well as back pay, the story says.
Filed in federal court in Denver last week, the EEOC’s lawsuit alleges that the owners of a two-year-old Hampton Inn hotel fired the workers because they are white and “it was their impression that such workers are lazy,” the Denver Post says, citing court records.
The owners allegedly believe that “Hispanics worked harder,” the article says.
The Post says that employment discrimination suits undertaken by the EEOC are not common and that cases that involve discrimination against white workers are even less common . The story continues:
“I’ve been doing this work for 30-some years, and I’ve never filed a case like this,” EEOC Regional Attorney Mary Jo O’Neill told the Associated Press.
A lawyer for the hotel, Tim Kingston, hadn’t had time to discuss the case with his clients. The hotel’s owners – Century Shree Corporation and Century Rama, Inc., and those firms’ individual owners, Falgun Patel, Mukund Partel and Piyush Patel — are accused of race discrimination, the story says.
Citing court records, the Post says that the hotel hired Wendy Buckley, Ashlee Flannery and Dewetta McKnight in 2009 to work in the laundry and housekeeping.
The three were fired later the same year and replaced by Hispanic employees, the story says.
We all know there may be some truth to this story due to knowing that hispanics/mexicans do work very hard. I’m just wondering.

I own a painting and drywall business. Mexicans are more grateful for work than a bunch of spoiled westernized materialists acting like they’re getting a job but they are really playing house. Its true. Alot of Hispanics are grateful just to be employed so their work ethic is STRONG! They dont assume they are “suppose” to have the job, they earn the right to work by outworking you. And yes it is unfair that they perform the same job for less money……GOD DON’T LIKE UGLY!

I was the cheif engineer at a hotel chain in the midwest that sold to a group of middle eastern investor’s. I had to remain at the property for the sale to go final train my replacement because of the very same reason but my replacement was white, what goes around comes around. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell Yeah I believe it! Go to any service driven establishment and tell me who you see behind the counter! I’m an advocate of hard work and fair employment practices, normally I wouldn’t side with “them” on this but maybe now someone will take a serious look at this issue! Not only to we as African Americans have to be 20x more intelligent, professional, etc…but now we have to be bilingual and willing to take a pay cut in order to compete with hispanics!
