Kids are brought up to excel and taught right away in sports that life is all about exceeding and competing. Naturally as a parent you want your child to be the best.. You may even be blessed with a child that is The Best of The Best. That explains 11 year old Demias Jimerson. He is so good that a rule was instituted to stop him from shining too hard and stunting on his lil mediocre opponents. Demais is so good at the game of football that he makes his opponents look like 5 year kindergartners on the field next to him.
According to Arkansas Fox affiliate Fox 16, 11-year-old Demias Jimerson has emerged as such a dominant running back that the Wilson Intermediate Football League he plays in has reinstated a bylaw called the “Madre Hill rule,” which bars him from scoring a touchdown if he has already scored three times and his team has a lead of 14 points or more.
The rule is named after former University of Arkansas star and Oakland Raider Madre Hill, who, like Jimerson, played youth football in the Malvern, Ark., area. Hill proved so adept at getting the ball into the end zone whenever he touched it that the WIFL came up with the rule to try and keep scores from getting too out of hand.
Now it has brought the same statute back for Jimerson, saying that the rule isn’t meant to punish him, but rather to ensure that the other 21 players on the field stay involved.
“The other players on both teams, 21 are just left sort of, this is all Demias,” WIFL commissioner Terri Bryant, who is also Jimerson’s Intermediate School principal, told Fox 16. “So that’s why the Madre Hill Rule has been implemented.
“[Jimerson] is going to score almost every time he touches the ball.”
It turns out that Bryant’s assessment of Jimerson’s talent is only a slight exaggeration. In one of the two games the sixth-grader played before the Madre Hill rule was implemented, he scored an incredible seven touchdowns.
For his part, Jimerson said he’s OK with the ruling, though he was surprised when it was first implemented. He also knows that when he becomes a seventh-grader in 2012 no limits will be applicable, so it will be impossible to penalize him for scoring too much.
“I got, kinda got shocked because I didn’t know that was gonna happen, but it did,” said Jimerson. Adding, “I’m ok with it.”
Given his current production with a bizarre rule holding him back, the prospect of Demias Jimerson “unleashed” should be a terrifying prospect for any future opponents, both in the WIFL and across the state.
Watch Demias completely dominate and run circles around the other kids.
Run FORREST RUN!!! Look At Him Go! I know his daddy is proud! He raised a superstar. Boy those 7th Graders better do their pushups next summer.
How would you feel if this was your son. Yes or No To the “Madre Hill” Rule?

Always Trying To Slow A Black Man Down ~ Test Him & Put Him A Higher Grade…
What a tremendous blessing! I’m posting this link I hope you don’t mind.
Dee, that is what you are supposed to do..
Love his sprite he’s humble about the situation and is already look towards the future. Yeah 7th grade.
Seen this on yahoo hope my son get to this status
I posted this from Yahoo earlier…They say they doing this so that the other kids won’t feel bad about how good he his…Here’s an idea..Tell the other kids to step up to plate and play harder..what would sports be if they took the best from every team and made them sit out to help the player self esteem and ego…it’s called competition let lil man compete!
I agree with Reginald Norris…this reminds me when they “lower the scale” at certain schools to make the children taking tests feel they have reached the level of achievement that qualifies them to compete academically with others in this country, not to mention the world,to only find out sometimes they can’t even score high enough to be eligible to attend some of the “Top Schools” and thereby are looked over when applying for jobs.
All because certain people are encouraged not to try harder, not to attain a 5.0gpa in a 4.0 society, again not to be competitive. I wonder if some are afraid of not being able to claim that “these certain people” are Inferior!!
He must have hurt a few feelings. Welcome to the Planet of the Pussies.
If he was my son I’d be pissed. If one of the other kids on opposing teams was my son, I’d be happy. Lmao. It doesn’t really matter though, because he handled the situation like an adult.
^ mature adult
Well at first I was outraged but then after reading article,I understand what they are trying to do to get other kids involved in game,at that age it’s difficult for kids to understand but someone has to have the kids best interest..
Thats awful,so sad:( If that was my son id fight it all the way!Imagine if it was maths he excelled at,would they then tel him to slow down then,or give him younger kids work?I think not!He would be raised up a class or end up with a scholoship! What an absolute joke!
Just Another for them to stop us frm getting ahead
(and mexicans) LOL
Yay!! Some LIKES, thanks.. Just wanted to see if people were paying attention.. I love <3 my facebook page!
Good Morning kissy i also like to see all ppl excel……i loved the link though.
Morning honey
I think after 3 touchdowns and your team being ahead by 14 pts he could sit down and let some other kid play,he’s got nothing else to prove after that. He’s the man..
i love to see black kids excel….
Of coarse not its gonna affect jus development if he were ti stay there
