A lot of Vh1′s Single Ladies fans were outraged and upset when they learned that the lead character Stacey Dash would be leaving the show. After Stacey Dash confirmed her departure from the show I stated that I would only watch if the her replacement was Meagan Good. It looks like my wish may come true.
Word on the street is that Meagan Good may have officially been offered the part. Earlier this year, she had two movies released “Jumping the Broom,” and “35 and Ticking,” plus she has a reoccurring role on BET’s hit TV show “The Game.” We’ve yet to see Meagan as the star of her own show, so this may be her big break. There hasn’t been any official word from VH1 or the creator/writer Stacy. A. Littlejohn. Only time will tell who will play our hopeless romantic, bombshell Valerie.”
Obviously I think it’s a great match. What do you think?

So they are replacing 1 piece of eye candy that cant act for another piece of eye candy that REALLY cant act….lol!

I'll have to watch before I pass judgement. New shows go thru changes all the time. Soap operas r CONSTANTLY changing actors. We'll see.

i'm so glad Stacey Dash is being replaced, although Stacey Dash physically is my inspiration, I just don't think she's a strong actress not believable to me. The soft voice…I just can't. However, she's smoking!!

Stacey Dash was meant for the part and I just don't feel that she would blend with the crew. Everyone is of mature crowd and she just doesn't fit in, unless she comes in as a different character then it can work. It would be best if they have her come in as Val's younger sister whom is taking over the boutique and Val going back to her old career a a celebrity stylist who travels, or leaving ATL bcuz she chose to stay with the ballplayer and he was traded bcuz of what she did to the owner of the team.

Change is good people Megan Goode is a good replacement as far as this show goes. I don't think nobody watches for the acting anyway. It's all eye candy and drama and i am sure all of that will still be on the show. so what's all the complaining for lol

The show is not very good so i def think megan would bring it
I didn't really like the show, the acting was…. elementary. Megan Goode, how do I say thi w/o being classified a hater, sucks. lol. i'm sure she'll get on great.
