It’s safe to say that America is not the only place where young people don’t know how to congregate together peacefully at a rap concert.

Someone attempted to cause chaos by releasing pepper spray at a recent Lil Wayne venue.

A unknown person snuck  into a downtown Montreal nightclub where the rapper  was scheduled to perform for his concert after party. The suspect  snuck into a back room and let pepper spray loose in the ventilation system around 1 a.m.

Everyone in the club was ushered outside for fresh air. The Young Money Rapper Lil Wayne had just pulled up to the building, noticed the commotion and the crowd gathered outside and immediately pulled off. Just narrowly missing getting gassed by pepper spray. 

About 300 people were in the club. Nobody was injured in the incident. Police have so far not made any arrests.

Montreal police were out in force earlier Wednesday evening for the rapper’s show at the Bell Centre — but not for his music. A large contingent were on hand at the venue as a precaution because police said Lil Wayne’s music is popular with street-gang members.

Lil Wayne is scheduled to play in Toronto today.
