Rick Ross is Feeling Like a King and Selling Remy Hair Weave

After losing his lawsuit against Def Jam and Rick Ross the Rapper, Freeway Ricky Ross has decided to enter the hair business.

Back in December of 2010 he discussed the lawsuit with XXL magazine.com

“They made enough money off my name. Anybody with enough decency and respect for the game would have thrown me something,”Freeway Ricky explained that a dismissed case hasn’t deterred his mission to recover monetary funds for the use of his original alias. “Rick Ross and Def Jam have all been eating off my brand. I feel it’s time they stop and I won’t stop until they do. I already filed my appeal. They tried to wear out my lawyers with money and they feel they can do whatever they want to do.”

“When they started this, they knew I was in jail with my hands tied. I am no longer in jail and now they will have to deal with me. They will have to see me soon enough. I’ll be at the award shows. I’ll be everywhere.”

I just thought you should know…. I guess things have changed.  Ain’t no hustle like that crack track hustle. At least he is selling the good stuff! I might have to kopp a few packs.

Do you think Rick Ross owed it to Freeway to throw some dough his way?

At least put the man in a video. You used his name and legend to craft a persona that was contrary to who you were, show the man some love at least

Uh…Should I remind people that this man was used by the C.I.A. to destroy our communities and kill and incarcerate many…. He’s a disgrace and so is Rick Ross and Def Jam for making it cool to be like this dude… I usually live and let live but dang…. You can’t be serious… We done made this dude a respectable celebrity? And we wonder why A.) We’re in the condition we’re in today and B.) People across the earth have a hard time finding respect for us as a people….. I’m jus’ sayin… Get it together!

When he first came out I thought he was from Cali and a part of that environment. Once I found out he was from Florida and he was the same dude in that vid with Trina he was a fraud in my eyes. Honestly this is why I agree with certain street organizations in certain cities making these so called hard core rappers pay a tax when they’re in their hometown. Stop rapping about the street life and get some new material.

imo The Real Ross need to understand he never trademarked his name and everybody know there is a difference between him and the artist. It no different from the Old Navy and the Kim Kardashian lawsuit… and i said it before “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”

The rapper def owes the real “rick ross” somthing….. He used not only his name but he used everything the man stood and fell for…. And made millions…. They could have gave the man somthin…. The real ross seems like a stand up guy… So why wouldnt the rapper take care of him… If i was in the rappers shoes i would show the man much love and respect….

They do it all the time in hiphop…prime example Biggie Smalls..Frank White..etc..etc..it’s really showing respect for the true hustlers that came before them.

They rarely report the fact that Rick Ross stated that he didn’t like what the rapper was making songs about because he no longer wanted his name to promote drugs. I was in Cali back then the killing didn’t start among blacks in the drug game until after Rick was removed. That’s when a vaccum was created & a war erupted.

No man is an Island nobody owes Ricky anything because what he did someone did before him… As for the Rapper “Rick Ross” being a fraud is what entertainment is about who cares who is if his music. Is hot then people will listen to it & if people are buying it they’re gonna put it out…

As Duane said, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” However, this is the age if advance media where image is Everything! “Ric Ross the convicted felon,” had a hell of a career as a drug lord but his name wasn’t trademarked nor his image so “Ric Ross, the rapper” in the words of Smokey in the Friday Movie, “Took advantage, …..Man!?!?” Personally, I feel the real Ric on this. You suppose to be all that and I know you need a write off on your taxes, so show a Niqqa some love and shake a bone lose PUNK! After all, that’s what the real Ric would do? (Officer.) At least put a Niqqa down in the game like Snoop did for Bishop Don Juan. A “real hustler” can get his own from there. I was talkin with my cuzo Luther “Luke” Campbell ’bout his punk azz. He told me he’s just a B!tch Niqqa and gay as fuq. So no respect for for Ric “da rapper”. (F@ck da Police!) Use my name an see what happen………..B!sh!!!!!!!!

I think he should’ve at least showed some respect to the man…that was his life he used to get recognized. Most people don’t remember that Ross didn’t start #Winning until he adapted his prosona..and for the record most rappers before him adapted to fictional mob characters…not real ones because that would have been disrespectful to the real cat that lived and died for that name. I just think that the music game is full of bs now and people should just take artists and the business for what its worth…to make money!
