The Cosby Program, established by Drs. Bill and Camille Cosby, is seeking talented African-American screen writers for a 15-week program that begins early 2012.
The program is not designed for beginning-level writers, though a degree in cinematic writing or filmmaking is not required. Applicants are required to have taken a few workshops or classes in the past.
Applications can be submitted until September 15th 2011.
An application includes a statement expressing interest in the program; a completed script for a feature film, sitcom or one hour drama; a treatment or outline for a new unscripted feature or television script for a show that is currently on air, a resume and a description of coursework taken in studying writing.
See Bill Cosby is not so bad after all. He just wants black people to do better.. He won’t tolerate the lazyiness and excuses. Bill made it when things were a lot tougher for African Americans to make it. And he made it in a respectable manner.. So what Mr. Pudding Pop pops off at the mouth from time to time. What he says is usually rooted in truth.

Young Bill to Senior Bill Cosby has always been conscience to the plights & struggles of our people from his early days of comedy, first tv show appearance, major college contributions, the postive image of family life on the “Cobsy Show”, to “A Different World” & continues to speak out against all odds even with backlash acidic criticism mostly from us.
Something to keep the greatness… moving in a great youth movement..great..

And I get so sick an tired of people saying otherwise. As if, if you are black you’re suppose to only like, love and help black’s. If you’re a successful black person, you’re suppose to stay in the Hood” Cause if you don’t you’re “uncle Tom” no matter how much you give back! You’re not consider Black if you Marty outside, if you line in an affluent neighborhood, if you help white people

Because opportunities opened up for you, and ya took it an ran w it! Because you want MORE out of life?!
